The first marijuana tasting room opens in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 5, where customers can sample a flight of cannabis before buying, NuWu Cannabis Marketplace opens its tasting room so customers can smoke products legally on property. Servers can point customers to several cannabis options along with devices such as pipes, bongs, and dab rigs.
NuWu sits on land owned by the Las Vegas Pauite Tribe. While Las Vegas City Council members voted in favor of pot lounges earlier this year, Assembly Bill 533 placed a hold on pot lounges until 2021 for more research. NuWu touts no hidden Nevada marijuana taxes. Those 21 and older can purchase medical marijuana and recreational cannabis products.
The 16,000-square-foot cannabis superstore also features 170 feet of display counters dedicated to Nevada-made marijuana products such as topicals, CBD oil, edibles, vapes, topicals, prerolls, concentrates, and more.
It’s also the only dispensary with a drive thru, open 24 hours.
NuWu Cannabis Marketplace, 1235 Paiute Circle, 702-844-2707. Open 24 hours.
