M RESORT — The resort became the official team headquarters to the Las Vegas Raiders NFL franchise when the team moves from Oakland in 2020. With it comes a new restaurant, the Raiders bar and grill, a 24/7 spot. M Resort general manager Hussain Mahrous tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the name and menu are still in the planning stages. It takes over a new space within the Henderson casino. [LVRJ]
DOWNTOWN — Hogs & Heifers fights its landlord the Downtown Grand to maintain its lease. In September, the resort issued an eviction notice that accused the bar of creating an unsafe environment. Owner Michelle Dell plans to fight the eviction in court on November 18. [Fox 5]
MIRAGE — Carnegie Deli, which closes next February to make way for a new grab-and-go restaurant in 2020, is looking for a new location on the Strip. Sarri Harper Weissman, vice president of Carnegie Deli Products Inc. and a third-generation operator of the brand, tells the Las Vegas Sun that the delis is “actively looking for a new home in Las Vegas.” [LVS]
