The Mayfair Supper Club, the Bellagio’s newest restaurant, plans to open in time for New Year’s Eve. Now comes word on its menu for ringing in 2020.
The restaurant, which finds inspiration in supper clubs in London, plans to offer dinner and a show in an evolving production that changes throughout the night. A menu of contemporary takes on American classics accompanies live entertainment performances nightly and a view of the Bellagio Fountains.
Exclusively for New Year’s Eve, The Mayfair will serve two special prix-fixe menus. The first, for $155 per person, started at 5 p.m. with a choice of a Waldorf salad, caviar pasta, oysters Rockefeller, or steak tartare, followed by a choice of salmon and sorrel, chicken a la king, filet Rossini, or winter vegetable pot pie. Everyone gets The Mayfair’s dessert collection.
The second seating at 8:30 p.m. for $395 per person starts with a chilled shellfish tower with caviar, a Waldorf salad, caviar pasta with white truffle shavings, Dover sole Veronique, tournedos that can be upgraded with Kobe beef, and The Mayfair’s dessert collection.
MGM Resorts partnered with London and New York-based Martin Brudnizki Design Studios to create the whimsical look of the supper club.
Bellagio certainly isn’t the first resort to re-introduce the supper club to Las Vegas. Rose. Rabbit. Lie at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offers dining and live entertainment in a supper club environment, and Wynn Las Vegas plans to open Delilah in the former Alex space in 2020.
Hyde closed back in July after seven years with one of the most coveted views on the Strip.
