A new coffee shop in the southwest promises an all-day food menu, a drive-thru, and a roster of coffee drinks. Founders Coffee, a spin-off of MTO Cafe, plans to open on December 5 with coffee, teas, smoothies, snacks, and more at Sunset Road and Durango Drive.
Director of operations Jeremy Yoza says the menu includes traditional coffee favorites such as lattes, cold brew, and cappuccinos, as well as specialty coffee drinks such as salted caramel and white chocolate lavender lattes, as well as frappes made with almond butter and jelly and fruit smoothies.
The menu features avocado with sun-dried tomato aioli; deluxe lox toast with smoked lox, smoked lox cream cheese, red onion, chopped boiled egg, capers, and chive; and Ferrero Rocher toast with Nutella, chocolate crispy rice, candied pecans, and chocolate sauce, as well as waffles, quiches, and breakfast bowls.
The 2,000-square-foot Founders Coffee plans to be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
