Cafe Lola gets ready to open its second European cafe-inspired location on November 30, this time taking the floral displays, pastries, and afternoon teas to Henderson. The space features a floral wall display, pink banquettes, a tea and Champagne lounge, a tree with a swing and a bicycle, and a phone booth, all meant to inspire social media snaps.
This location has a communal table meant for bachelorette parties or mommy and me teas with a chandelier overhead.
At its core, Cafe Lola is a coffee shop, serving Intelligentsia coffee, along with specialty drinks, such as the cupcake latte that comes with a mini cupcake, white mocha caramel latte, frozen hot chocolate, Lola’s vanilla rose tea latte, emerald tea latte, hot cocoa, Mexican hot chocolate, and more. An afternoon tea includes pastries and a pot of tea.
The food menu includes frozen cereal, a veggie scramble, and smoothies, along with a roster of toasts with avocado, berries, a white bean spread, almond butter, or burrata and prosciutto. Charcuterie boards and salads such as a roasted chicken market, a roasted beet, and a Caesars salad round out the menu.
Every Monday through Saturday, the restaurant has a $20 bottle of house wine with a small cheese board and Italian ice for $20, while Saturdays and Sundays bring bottomless rosés for $20. The restaurant also has a wine and Champagne lists.
Owners Alexandra Lourdes, Lin Jerome, Michael Santos, and Stephen Jerome lead the new location. The original Cafe Lola opened in May 2017, and the team went on to open Saint Honoré, dubbed “the very first couture doughnut and classic beignet shop in the U.S.”
