PARK MGM — Eataly gets a little makeover with a new mural depicting the food of Italy. Brooklyn-based artist Patrick Vale created Some Drawings I Made Whilst Waiting For The Agnolotti with vignettes showing the food and culinary traditions of the country. Eataly asked Vale to take Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti’s philosophy — “to enjoy sustainable, authentic cuisine, shop the best products available and feel empowered to learn about Italian culture” — and paint the mural that includes food, chefs, and atmosphere at the food hall. The digital painting is 79 feet wide and 27 feet tall and sits above the interior entrance. [EaterWire]
MANDALAY PLACE — Rí Rá Irish Pub now carries Guinness Over The Moon Milk Stout, a creamy beer with notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate, and rich coffee. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore made the beer, and Rí Rá is the only bar selling it on the Strip. [EaterWire]
NOMAD — One of the biggest names at three-Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park, Leo Robitschek, left the vaunted establishment to head up the food and beverage program at the Sydell Group, which owns several popular hotel chains across the country including the NoMad at the Park MGM. [Eater NY]
