Popping up on the western fringe of downtown’s Gateway District, newcomer Pizza 108 has settled into a steady schedule and is proudly declaring itself the City’s “first and only 100% Vegetarian/Vegan organic pizzeria.”

Ramping up to become a growing local trend in 2020, the “ghost kitchen” restaurant currently only permits delivery, with no indoor seating, inside a nondescript corner space at 2013 S. Highland Ave., an industrial neighborhood better known for hosting auto body shops.

Pizza 108 specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza, and the owners promise all ingredients are “carefully sourced 100% vegetarian & vegan” and separated to avoid cross contamination.

On the menu, 12-inch vegetarian pies, including The Royal Lady Margherita, The Lone Star made with homemade barbecue sauce, and the Italian-flavored sausage Banger.

Among the vegan options prepared with house-made mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, The Alcachofa topped with artichokes and The Free Ranged barbecue chicken option.

Each week, the team will feature The Curve Ball, a limited-run pizza that will encourage the team to experiment with ingredients.

Pizza 108, 2013 S. Highland Ave., 702-637-2120. Opening daily at 11.30 a.m., closing times are 7 p.m. on Monday, 10 p.m. on Tuesday to Thursday, 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sundays.
