CHICAGO — Las Vegas-based Deja vu Services Inc., which claims to be the largest strip club operator in the world, bought surly restaurant Dick’s Last Resort, which has a location at Excalibur. Loop North News reports that Deja vu, which owns more than 130 strip clubs nationwide, as well as restaurants, nightclubs, adult online businesses, and karaoke bars plans no changes. Dick’s, known for its obnoxious service and outrageous hats it makes customers wear, has 13 locations. [Loop North News]

SOUTHWEST — A new $400 million, 40-acre project dubbed UnCommons plans to break ground in spring 2020 south of the 215 Beltway near Durango Road. Phase 1 of the project, from Matter Real Estate Group, which also opened the outdoor shopping center Town Square, includes $250 million in construction costs to bring office space, retail outlets, and a food hall with restaurants. SPRING VALLEYBurgerim opened its third Las Vegas location at West Flamingo Road and South Fort Apache Road. The burger chain offers 10 protein options, a choice of house-made sauces and toppings, and three-ounce patties. LAS VEGAS — Fast-casual sandwich chain Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop now serves the plant-based Impossible cheesesteak sandwiches at the Downtown Summerlin location at 11010 Lavender Hill Drive and at the Aliante Parkway location at 2620 Nature Park Drive, North Las Vegas. Capriotti’s is also launching an Impossible meatball sandwich. The company is expecting to roll out the product nationally in early 2020. [EaterWire]
