A new entrant into the highly competitive, fast-casual Mexican dining scene is importing a menu from San Diego upgraded with handmade tortillas, Oaxaca cheese, Hot Cheetos burritos, and churro bites.
Sporting a lucha libre Mexican wrestling design theme, Taco Man Grill operated three Southern California locations at its peak, but is now focused on Las Vegas and still promising to continue fighting bad tacos.
The counter-service, 1,450-square-foot corner space replaces the former home of Kabob Oasis and Super Burrito at the Eastern Marketplace retail center, close to St. Rose Parkway.
Featured on the menu, breakfast burritos including shrimp and carne asada, surf and turf choices, plus mulitas and quesadillas, bowls, fish tacos, and churros that can be upgraded with ice cream, toppings, and drizzles or dip.
Among the burritos, the hot Cheetos creation served with carne asada, guacamole, and nacho cheese, plus the house special Smack Down, created with steak, shrimp, French fries, salsa fresca, cheese, and chipotle crema.
Taco Man Grill, 10100 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite 120, 702-202-2610. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
