A new, multi-million dollar asset for skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor lovers arrives at Lee Canyon in January, providing revamped dining and drinking opportunities at the resort's largest makeover in decades.
Following a ribbon cutting, the two-story, 9,122-square-foot Hillside Lodge will debut on January 10, at 10 a.m., unveiling a modern-design structure, bolstered by an initial estimated construction budget of $3.5 million.
Already open for the season, new coffee stop The Brewin’ Burro is serving Illy coffee, espresso, tea, and hot chocolate to help warm up customers.
Also on the way, outdoor heated terrace and patio dining spaces configured to offer great views, a ski-in, ski-out bar, a bistro, and a renovation of the former casual Big Horn Cafe, into the Bighorn Grill.
Located in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, about an hour’s drive northwest from downtown, the venue has installed a construction web cam to help provide updates of the progress.
