Eighteen months since first revealed, Filipino fast-food experts Jollibee are finally hiring for its first expansion to Henderson, launching a stand-alone space with drive-thru on Eastern Avenue.
Located at the Eastern Horizon, formerly Eastern Commons, retail center and sitting close to the Horizon Ridge Parkway, early plans called for a 3,002-square-foot building with an outdoor patio seating area, a short walk across the parking lot from the Seafood City Supermarket, Arby’s and El Pollo Loco.
Describing itself as the Philippines’ number one fast food restaurant chain, the Filipino-inspired menu has earned a very loyal customer base at its its three existing Las Vegas locations at Village Square, the Southwest Marketplace and inside the eastside’s Seafood City supermarket.
Famed for including the late Anthony Bourdain among its fans, the Henderson expansion has yet to update further details, or an opening date, but long filed paperwork hoped Jollibee would serve daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and include its popular menu of “Chickenjoy” fried chicken, spaghetti, “fiesta noodles,” peach mango pies, halo-halo desserts, and “breakfast joys.”
