Southern Home-Style Cooking Arrives at Serene on the Eastside

Serene Vegas has maintained a low-profile presence directly across from the Hard Rock Hotel since early 2017, but has now landed a new dining option located just off the lobby, promising Southern home style cooking for both visitors and guests.

Available from breakfast to dinner, Jacob’s Catch Bar & Grill’s spin on classic comfort dishes is served within the resort’s bright modern interior, featuring Belgian waffles, country-fried steak, and a $10.99 all-you-can-eat breakfast deal from from 7 to 11 a.m.

For lunch and dinner, appetizers include fried green tomatoes, or pickles, chicken gizzards, cheddar poppers, and a shrimp cocktail. Burgers and a Philly cheesesteak are joined by a collection of po’ boys, created with chicken, crawfish, fried oysters, shrimp, or fish fillets.

Seafood specials include two whole pieces fried catfish, prepared with “heads off & bone-in,” plus big shrimp platters, oysters, crab cakes, and the house favorite dish of 30 small shrimp priced at $11.99

Replacing the self-billed boutique hotel Rumor, Serene has previously hosted the RLX Restaurant and Sip N’ Savor, and was once home to Addiction from local chef Vic Moea.
