Cars are already rolling through the newly opened, surprise off-Strip White Castle. The 24-hour, fast-casual restaurant just opened across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas.
The home of steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions sliders takes over a former Checkers outpost at the intersection of Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue.
The location features a drive-thru and a hard-to-miss illuminated revolving sign on the roof. White Castle remodeled inside with an estimated construction budget of $68,000for the speedy makeover for the 2,670-square-foot, counter-service space.
White Castle arrived on the Strip in 2015, expanded downtown in 2017, and last year moved inside the Terrible’s Road House travel center in Jean, Nevada.
The busy Shoppes at Harmon Square retail center is already home to Fries N’ Pies and Roberto’s Taco Shop, as well as MedMen, the cannabis retailer. Last week, Shinya Maru Ramen & Izakaya closed at the strip mall.
