Ariel Contreras-Fox lands the new head chef job at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, the TV personality and chef’s fifth Las Vegas restaurant. She won season 18 of Hell’s Kitchen on Friday night, taking home the $250,000 salary and a shot at a job in the restaurant that sits in front of Caesars Palace.
The Season 18 finale featured two women from New York City in the two-hour finale — veteran Contreras-Fox and rookie Mia Castro.
Contreras-Fox, who is the executive chef at Harding’s in New York City, defeated Castro. Contreras-Fox originally competed during Season 6, finishing in third place.
Although Castro was considered a rookie, she did compete on Chopped on the Food Network in the past.
Last year, Michelle Tribble of Dallas won the competition as well as the head chef job at the Ramsay’s same restaurant.
