Two of Las Vegas’ favorite food festivals plan to return to the city this spring.
First up, Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit comes back May 9-12 with chefs such as Best Friend’s Roy Choi, Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi, Gordon Ramsay with five Las Vegas restaurants, Lisa Vanderpump and her new cocktail lounge, TV personality Guy Fieri, Masaharu Morimoto, Guy Savoy, Julian Serrano with three Las Vegas restaurants, Michael Mina with four Las Vegas restaurants, Mark LoRusso from Costa di Mare, Nobu Matsuhisa of Nobu fame, Bryan and Michael Voltaggio, Will Guidara of NoMad fame, and more. AD, Condé Nast Traveler, GQ, them., and Vanity Fair from the Conde Nast portfolio join Bon Appétit to host events throughout the festival weekend. Tickets go on sale today at 7 a.m. EST.
New events in 2019 include cocktails with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Vanderpump in her new lounge at Caesars Palace that opens this spring, a celebrity poker tournament, and a champagne brunch with truffle making with Tosi.
UNLVino sponsored by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Nevada returns for its 45th year April 11-13. The event benefits the students of UNLV’s Harrah College of Hospitality. Bubble-Licious takes place on Thursday, April 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Keep Memory Alive Events Center in downtown Las Vegas’ Symphony Park. Sake Fever with a 300-pound tuna carving returns to Red Rock Resort’s pool on Friday, April 12, from 7 to 10 p.m. The Grand Tasting heads to the Mirage Event Center on Saturday, April 13, from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets range in price from $75 to $150, and go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 14.
