The Halal Guys‘ invasion of Las Vegas continues with a third location and a second on the Strip. The fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant that started as a food cart in New York City opens at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian today.
That means chicken and rice platters paired with super secret ingredient white and hot sauces from entrepreneur Binh Tran and Tom Nguyen.
Diners can order sandwiches or platters with chicken, beef, or falafel. Hummus, falafel, baba ganouj, or fries are the sides. Baklava is on the dessert menu.
The Halal Guys opened its first food cart in 1990 on 53rd and Sixth Avenue in New York City as a response to the Muslim cab driver demand for Halal food. Now the company has more than 350 restaurants currently in development worldwide.
This is The Halal Guys’ third Las Vegas location. The Halal Guys opened its first Las Vegas location in 2016 at 3755 Spring Mountain Road, then expanded to the food court at Caesars Palace in 2017, marking the first time a Halal restaurant opened inside a casino.
The Halal Guys, Venetian, 3377 Las Vegas Blvd. S. Open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
