Downtown Summerlin lands a new neighborhood bar in late March when Frankie’s Uptown — A Neighborhood Bar opens. The bar takes over the former home of Casa del Matador, which closed in December.
The bar plans to feature an old school tavern atmosphere.
The menu is still in the works, but plans to include burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and a dish called the Stroll, a combination of a stromboli and calzone. A full roster of whiskeys and bourbons plan to sit behind the bar.
Las Vegas entrepreneur Frank Lee, an investor in Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar, designed Frankie’s Uptown “to be the local hangout for pregame, watching a game, an office gathering, and daily happy hour.”
Frankie’s Uptown plans to be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
On Monday, Jing announced plans to bring its menu of sushi to steaks in the former 8,600-square-foot Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse space at Downtown Summerlin.
