Years in the making, a self-described “French Resto-Bistro” is finally ready to debut “with an atmosphere bringing the Provence from the French Riviera directly to Downtown Las Vegas.”
First announced in August 2017, La Sandwicherie will launch on Wednesday, March 6, at 365 Lewis Ave., very close to the intersection with Fourth Street.
Future opening hours will be Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no announced plans for weekend service, instead focusing its attention on local businesses and employees and visitors to the Courthouse and City Hall.
Despite the large number of downtown workers in the immediate neighborhood, in recent years the City Centre Caffe, Make It Yourself Pizza, and Sin City Sandwich have all shuttered on the ground floor of the City Centre Place building.
La Sandwicherie hopes to buck the trend with “the best food and service possible” and a menu of “gourmet sandwiches, tartines, quiches, salads and some delicious sweet treats.”
