Gritty New York street designer Jeff Staple teams up with LA food truck legend Roy Choi on a limited run of clothing tied to Choi’s first Las Vegas Korean barbecue restaurant, Best Friend at the Park MGM.
Starting at 7 p.m. tonight, the two reveal a line of pieces that include a hoodie, long sleeve T-shirt, a T-shirt, and a hat. Diners can stop by Best Friend after 7 p.m. to grab some exclusive merchandise, a bite to eat, and possibly catch Staple taking over the ones and twos in the deejay booth in the main dining room.
Staple got his start back in 1997 while taking a silkscreen class at Parsons School of Design in New York City. A small boutique ordered 12 of the T-shirts he was wearing. By 2005, he created a commemorative sneaker that would represent New York for Nike.
