Continuing its reputation as an unpredictable location to sustain even a basic fast casual concept, The Hawaiian Marketplace has lost yet another tenant.
Rockin Rice Puddin & NY Pizza has shuttered a little more than six months after taking over the former Dino’s Little Italy, plus the expanded space next door.
Yet to make its own announcement, both areas have been vacated and a new owner can step in to take over the lease for $49,999.
In additions to a traditional pizza menu, the kiosk offered a far more uncommon menu, offering “fifty flavors of gourmet rice pudding.”
No hint of a new replacement has been revealed.
A short distance away, the Korean-American-inspired Chew & Chug has achieved greater success with is steak and seafood menu served in a custom, brightly colored combination plate and cup. Yet to be confirmed, a future tenant directory suggests Chew & Chug is expanding into the Venetians’ Grand Canal Shoppes, expected to be the food court, later this year.
