The next must-visit Japanese restaurant has landed on Flamingo Road, centered around a teppanyaki grill to prepare its “omakase-style” menu.
Originally known as Teppan Tatsujin and Teppan By Raku during the construction phase, Tatsujin X is located at the Flamingo Arville Plaza, next to the Palms resort at the intersection of Flamingo Road and and Arville Street, and a few steps from Umiya Sushi.
The compact, 1,200-square-foot space offers eleven seats facing the chef’s open view, teppanyaki iron griddle, plus a handful of tables.
Currently priced between $50 for salmon and $70 for “beef fillet,” diners begin with a “chef’s choice” of starter, followed by a salad, appetizer, grilled vegetable, and the main course options that include rib eye steak and sea bass. Pork okonomiyaki or garlic rice comprise the shime course, and the meal ends with the dessert of the day.
Tatsujin X, 4439 W. Flamingo Road, 702-771-8955. Open daily from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and closed on Sundays.
