Before it even arrived, Fashion Show mall found a replacement for San Francisco-based chain Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, filling the void with another popular sandwich brand.
The mall has removed Ike Shehadeh’s restaurant from its “coming soon” page and updated that the fifth local outpost for Earl of Sandwich is on the way.
Co-created by Robert Earl, the company already serves its subs and wraps at Caesars Palace, the Palms, Downtown Summerlin, and Planet Hollywood Resort, where Earl retains his position as chairman.
Fans of Ike’s “Dirty Sauce,” Dutch Crunch bread, and imaginative sandwich creations will now have to wait until the summer and the debut of its first Las Vegas expansion on Maryland Parkway, a short walk from UNLV.
Taking over 1,534 square feet on the ground floor of the University Gateway building and across the street from Smashburger and In-N-Out Burger, Ike’s will join Peet’s Coffee, Crumbl Cookies, and yet to be announced future tenants. Back in February, the building updated the structure was “approximately 71% complete.”
