Confirmation of the first two dining tenants at the southeast's Silverado Gallery Shopping Center reveals a new destination for Ninth Island residents and a new ramen restaurant from chef Nathan Asamoto.
Still under construction on Silverado Ranch Boulevard, a mile from South Point and west of Bermuda Road, the retail hub intends to host 19,120 square feet of storefronts, plus a stand-alone, yet-to-be announced drive-thru business.
Space 115 will be home to Nathan Asamoto’s Bone & Belly Ramen restaurant, with 808 Eatery taking over space 120. Paperwork to remodel both the empty building shells was filed earlier this month.
Neither restaurant has released details of a projected opening date, or future menus.
Asomoto was the original chef and general manager of Shinya Maru Ramen on Fremont East. In Los Angeles, he also helped launch Men Oh Tokushima Ramen, Ramen Champ, and Tentenyu Ramen.
While the owners revamp the interior and menu, downtown’s Shinya Maru is currently closed and announcing an April 30 return date. The smaller, sibling restaurant Shinya Maru Ramen & Izakaya remains open daily on Paradise Road from 11.30 a.m. to midnight.
