The latest board game cafe in Las Vegas has debuted on the eastside, moving into the former Sinful Subs shop at the University Gardens retail Center, a convenient distance from UNLV.
Revealed last September, the Dice & Beans Board Game Cafe sits next door to the post office and a short walk from another recent tenant, Patty’s Tamales.
Customers can order from the menu of beverages while playing the large collection of games stacked high on the shelves. An unlimited single day’s play costs $7 per person, or $35 for a month of access. A 10 percent discount on the rental, and food and drink is available for all UNLV staff, students, military, police, firefighters, and seniors with an I.D.
Ahead of a “grand opening” on April 1, the current menu includes lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and Americanos, upgraded with toppings and flavors, plus the “Dark Tower” coffee poured with an espresso shot and an “Infinity Mocha Brew” created with chocolate and caramel drizzle, topped with whipped cream.
Dice & Beans Board Game Cafe, 4632 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 12, 702-749-3117. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
