A Pot Dispensary Adds Pizza and Coffee to the Repertoire

Planet 13, the 112,000-square-foot marijuana dispensary at 2548 W. Desert Inn Road, plans to open a 4,500-square-foot coffee shop and bistro and pizzeria, the first of several planned expansions for the location.

Arizona restaurant and craft brewery chain Rickety Cricket — with locations in Kingman, Flagstaff, and Prescott, Arizona — runs the pizza bistro. Last year, the company won the 2018 non-traditional division regional competition for the Southwest at the International Pizza Expo. The Kingman menu includes barbecue chicken, a Chicago-style South Side Mo’s with sausage, and the Hot Mess with serrano, jalapeño, and red peppers. No word on whether Rickety Cricket plans to offer its lineup of beers brewed in house.

Purc Coffee, dubbed “Coffee for the Planet,” and promises to bring a “greenhouse concept, completely unique in Las Vegas.”

Between 130 and 150 patrons can fit into both, which plan to open in late summer or early fall.
