Less than four months after an involuntarily shutter in Centennial, Leticia’s Mexican Cocina’s executive chef and owner Leticia Mitchell has made good on her promise and will be returning to the region within a few weeks.
Leticia’s Cocina has announced it is “working hard to open within the first week of April of 2019,” taking over the Cabo Mexican Restaurant space at the Santa Fe Station. Cabo closed at the resort in March, almost making it to a 10-year residency serving a casual menu stacked with more than “130 different dishes.”
Referencing “the most difficult time we have felt in the past 10 yrs of business,” Leticia’s Cocina also shuttered at Tivoli Village last October, barely a few days before the chef launched Leticia’s Cocina & Cantina at Henderson’s Fiesta Henderson.
Future opening hours and a menu at Santa Fe Station and whethere the new restaurant will keep the gaming machines installed at the bar have yet to be revealed. Cabo was only open for dinner, while Leticia’s in Henderson offers lunch, brunch, and happy hour dining choices.
