“Don’t cook today!” is the slogan of a new dining option in North Las Vegas, serving a homestyle spin on a casual Mexican menu, plus the opportunity to drop in for a caffeine pick-me-up.
Mucho Sabroso Mexican Homemade Food & Coffee has moved into the Lake Mead Decatur Shopping Center, west of the Texas Station and in the same retail center as Mariscos El Puerto.
The compact interior has installed two counters. By the entrance and small outdoor patio, guests can order coffees, smoothies and desserts. A few steps to the back of the space, the menu of hearty favorites is updated daily, alongside a list of breakfast and lunch specials.
Recent options have include pozole, chilaquiles, huarache, menudo, pollo con nopalitos, picadillo, pollo con mole, and carne de res en chile pasilla.
Mucho Sabroso Mexican Homemade Food & Coffee, 1921 N Decatur Boulevard, 702-209-3900. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., closing at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday.
