Exactly a year since first revealed, Oregon-based Black Rock Coffee Bar has set an opening date for its arrival in Las Vegas, serving a menu of “premium” beverages and locally-sourced quick bites.

Rapidly expanding from dozens of outlets throughout the northwest states, the “neighborhood” focused coffee shop will launch on Friday, May 10, at the corner of Rainbow Boulevard and Maulding Avenue.

The 1,380-square-foot, built-from-scratch coffee shop has added a 295-square-foot patio and the convenience of a drive-thru.

Black Rock designed the space with warm wood accents, Edison bulb lamps, and space for Las Vegas-branded merchandise. The menu will include coffee, local pastries, bagels, energy drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, and juice.

A second location with a drive-thru will also be finished later this year, currently under construction five miles to the southwest at 4835 Blue Diamond Road, close to the Hi Scores | Bar Arcade and Decatur Boulevard. Opening hours for neither site have yet to be announced.
