Almost 15 miles from its home base, Bajamar Seafood & Tacos is expanding to the southwest, following two successful years downtown.
Featuring a menu inspired by the flavors of Baja California, Mexico, the restaurant will replace the shuttered Vietnamese and Thai restaurant WTPho? at the Blue Diamond Marketplace retail hub.
Moving next to a 7-Eleven, the 1,499-square-foot space sits right at the intersection of Cimarron and Blue Diamond Roads. It joins a Babystacks Cafe, XO Chinese, and Fuego Mexican Kitchen.
The original Bajamar, located a short walk across Las Vegas Boulevard from Dino’s Lounge, serves a “Baja style seafood” menu in a casual, family-friendly setting, specializing in tacos, tostadas, seafood cocktails, soups, and “chef favorites” including “Aguachile Bajamar,” marinated shrimp served over a bed of cucumbers and its spin on “Surf N Turf,” created with French fries, shrimp, and carne asada.
Future opening hours, or a debut date have yet to be revealed.
