Eagerly anticipated by Henderson locals since its reveal last August, family-owned and operated Dark Moon Coffee Roasters just launched its coffee shop and roasting facility at the Maryland and Eastern Shopping Center.
And in an uncommon move for a bespoke coffee shop, the 1,600-square-foot space has already upgraded its early menu with a collection of alcoholic drinks.
Sitting next door to I Love Sushi Japanese restaurant at the intersection of Sunridge Heights Parkway and Eastern Avenue, the early Dark Moon menu includes familiar options of espresso, lattes, cortados (espresso mixed with steamed half and half), and cold brew options.
Flavor-conscious choices include global “pour over” imports from Peru, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Colombia, and Guatemala, as well as exotic teas including Jasmine Pearl, Assam Gold, a fruity plum oolong, and a smooth matcha drink.
Currently offering four draft beers, including a stout, IPA, and strong Belgian ale, customers can select from a rotating list of cans and bottles, or try the $9 wine list curated from Chile, France, Italy, and Paso Robles, California.
Dark Moon Coffee Roasters, 11041 S. Eastern Ave., #115, Henderson, 702-840-3300. Open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
