Diners in Centennial Hills were quick to welcome Lemongrass & Lime to the neighborhood last June, one of the rare Thai restaurants in the region. Now comes confirmation that a new Thai eatery plans a summer debut, located three miles to the south.
Thai Spoon hopes to be up and ready this August at the Centennial Square retail hub, close to the intersection of Durango Drive and Centennial Parkway. The restaurant will take over two vacant spaces, filling a healthy 3,175 square feet with a menu of “amazing appetizers, majestic main courses, and delicious desserts.”
The restaurant sits next door to The Butcher Block and joining North End Pizza, Waffle Brothers, and Distill Tavern, and very early posted opening hours will be daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m and closing at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant promises take-out options, plus an interior to “enjoy the night in style.”
Yet to post a final menu, Thai Spoon is already hinting at dishes such as spicy noodles salad, shrimp in fragrant fish sauce, and grilled squid on skewers.
