A locals’ favorite on the eastside is expanding four miles to the southwest, bringing its large and hearty menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner specials to Henderson.
Family-run Ely’s Restaurant launched in 2015 close to Eastern Avenue at the Ocotillo Plaza on Tropicana Avenue, adding a patio to the corner space at the rear of the retail hub.
The new location takes over a long shuttered Blueberry Hill Restaurant & Lounge at the Green Valley Town & Country Center, next door to Sin City Smokers BBQ and easy to access from the intersection of Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road.
The roomy 4,350-square-foot site currently does not have a provision for outdoor dining.
Noted for its customer service and family friendly atmosphere, owner Roan Torres named the restaurant after his mother and daughter. Opening daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., future hours, or an estimated opening date in Henderson have yet to be announced, but are promised to be “coming soon.”
On the very large menu, a full range of breakfast choices, house specialty burgers including the Florentino cheese option prepared with homemade Alfredo sauce, spinach and mushrooms, pozole, menudo, and weekday meal deals.
