The “only place” in Las Vegas to serve Belgian “waffle stick” desserts, is close to launching a second home on the westside.
Jozo DrinkLab Cafe is expanding from its two-year old Stephanie Street base in Henderson and replacing the Berry Blendz juice bar at 7175 W. Lake Mead Blvd., a short distance from Tenaya Way.
Based around a concept of “creative drinks and fun treats,” early renderings hint the 1,345-square-foot Rock Springs Plaza location will create an airy, modern light wood interior for its menu of beverages, paninis, and waffle creations.
Coffee choices include “Bullet Butter Coffee,” cortados and lattes with the option of “Cuban” or “beehive “ flavors. The restaurant also serves cold brews, Vietnamese coffee, and a full range of milk teas, milk shakes, and smoothies. Diners can order panini, including avocado toast, tuna melt, and turkey artichoke options.
A main attraction is the “waffle stick,” served with dips of Nutella, maple, or honey cinnamon, plus “stuffed sticks” filled with fruit and larger desserts upgraded with ice cream, such as the “matcha madness” featuring three waffle sticks, matcha ice cream, wafers, and matcha and chocolate drizzle.
Currently hiring, the westside site is expected to be open daily.
