Taking over a much larger space than the two, highly popular original outposts, Curry Zen will debut its Japanese curry and new ramen menu in North Las Vegas this weekend.
Replacing a shuttered KFC at the intersection of Centennial Parkway and Commerce Street, the 2,687-square-foot casual restaurant will open its doors on Sunday, April 7. Future opening hours have yet to be announced.
The stand-alone building sits a short distance from Habaneros Taco Grill and the closed, former home of Wimpy’s burgers.
Launched in 2012 at Chinatown’s Seoul Plaza, Curry Zen expanded to Spring Valley three years later with a quicker, “Express” off-shoot.
Revealed last November, the restaurant has been publicly apologizing to anxious fans eager for its delayed arrival. Special to this location will be series of ramen dishes, plus selections from the 16 curry dishes already available in Chinatown, that can be upgraded with 20 different toppings.
