The Palms shut down its pools in 2017 after the last parties of the season so they could go through a dramatic renovation into Kaos Dayclub & Nightclub. Now the resort debuts its new 73,000-square-foot dayclub, claiming the highest number of pools of any resort in North America.

Partiers walk into the venue passing by Damien Hirst’s 23-foot tall sculpture The Warrior and the Bear to find two main pools, numerous side pools, and 39 cabanas, most with their own private pool.

The dayclub with room for up to 5,000 features a seasonal dome cover that will allow it to operate year-round.

At the center of the main pools, a 65-foot bronze sculpture by Damien Hirst entitled Demon with Bowl. The venue, designed by Friedmutter Group Las Vegas, also features a 270-foot LED screen that interacts with the music on the exterior of the resort’s Ivory Tower.

The pool party also converts into part of Kaos Nightclub when a massive retractable glass wall exposes the nighttime portion of the venue. A rotating 360-degree DJ booth and a separate entertainment stage give the dayclub a chance to feature multiple artists. A Tesla coil ceiling adds to sound and production special effects with the ability to create “weather elements” to cannons that shoot water more than 100 feet in the air.

Those 39 cabanas feature individual self-controlled audio systems, including sub woofers, televisions, misters, and fans.

Bobby Flay’s new Shark and Greene St. Kitchen with its street art interior both back onto the pools.

Marshmello kicks off the party on Saturday, followed by Kaskade on Sunday. Other residencies include Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Breathe Carolina, Brooks, Cardi B, Cheat Codes, Deadmau5, DJ Politik, Eric Prydz, G-Eazy, J. Balvin, Jauz, Ozuna, Skrillex, Slushii, Southside, and Vice.

As is the norm for Las Vegas, VIP experiences range from personalized champagne valet service that escorts partiers to a Champagne vault with a Palms’ butler to select bottles, including some of the rarest and largest bottle formats on the market priced at $6,000 and higher,

The $100,000 soak the deck gives customers a chance to fire water cannons covering the entire pool deck while a live feed projects the water blast on the Ivory Tower LED live feed

The $50,000 Own the Strip experience brings a complete venue and Ivory Tower LED takeover.
