Right on the border with Summerlin, Kaizen Revolving Sushi is very close to unveiling the first conveyor belt dining experience in the neighborhood.
Opening day will be April 15 at 7450 W. Lake Mead BLVD., inside the Summerlin Gateway Plaza retail center, filling 1,903 square feet and located a short distance from the under construction, “100% plant based” Garden Grill restaurant.
Created by the owners of Spring Mountain’s Konbea Belt Sushi, and the successful Kaizen brand of sushi restaurants in Henderson, North Las Vegas, and the eastside, the revolving menu will be built around “traditional and fusion Japanese dishes.”
In addition to the conveyor belt system delivering plates around the dining room, menu items that need special attention from the culinary team will be sped to each seat on the back of a miniature 12-wheel truck, instead of a more familiar robot, or train.
Future opening hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday to Thursday and from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
