The Sapporo restaurant group is fast becoming the local leader in automated Asian dining and its next expansion is bringing the experience ever closer to the Strip.
Chinatown’s Sapporo Revolving Sushi filed paperwork to move into the Silverton Village retail center at 8229 Dean Martin Drive. Located behind the Silverton Casino, the conveyor belt delivered menu joins Starbucks, Panera Bread, Blaze Pizza, and Firehouse Subs and sits a short drive from Cracker Barrel and the under-construction Hyatt Place hotel, now accepting reservations Aug. 10.
Launched in late 2017, Sapporo expanded to Centennial back in February. The parent company's Master Kim’s Korean BBQ in Spring Valley also features machine delivered dishes and will be expanding to Town Square later this year.
Yet to announce the move, or a possible opening date, Sapporo specializes in preparing covered plates including sushi, nigiri, and chicken karaage that travel around the dining room to entice customers. Diners who want to order a custom item have their food whisked to their seat on the back of a robot train.
