More proof this will be the year Main Street and the Arts District become the region’s go-to hub for beer with early paperwork revealing yet another micro-brewery is on the way.
HUDL Brewing Co. is taking over 1311 S. Main St., creating a fully operational facility that can handle development to bottling and estimated to become a 10 bbl brewhouse.
The brewery has yet to announce the project or its future brewmaster, but early job descriptions describe the space as featuring a “cellar,” front of house sales, and “public tours, education, tastings and interaction with brewery guests.”
The location was briefly in use as the short-lived outdoor food truck home to Urban Foodcourt. It also sits less than a third of mile to the north from the under construction home of the Able Baker Brewing Co., currently building a 7,504-square-foot micro-brewery, taproom, and dining destination.
Yet to share future plans, or a tentative debut date, HUDL Brewing has confidently trademarked its name for use on growlers, glassware, and store merchandise.
