Phased construction rapidly continues on the southwest's Mountain’s Edge Marketplace retail hub and the latest dining tenant updates reveal new neighbors for Andy Hooper and chef Nicole Brisson and their eagerly anticipated new project, Locale Italian Kitchen.
First updated last July, leasing maps for the Albertsons-anchored shopping center still promises Burgerim and L&L BBQ are on the way, but have dropped a planned Chicken Shack expansion from the publicly released roster.
Located at the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Buffalo Drive, current plans call for newcomers Jie Ramen and Boran Thai Kitchen to join the fast-casual menu of China A Go Go, on the Buffalo side of the 25-acre site. Paperwork was recently filed for construction work on both projects.
A short distance to the east, Burgerim will be located in a building with L&L BBQ and a still unnamed sushi restaurant.
And Locale Italian Kitchen is preparing to serve lunch and dinner daily with a weekend brunch at its 3,000-square-foot corner restaurant, five doors down from the Albertsons store.
Still promoting a spring debut, the The Black Sheep partner and the former Eataly executive chef have already announced the menu will be inspired by la cucina povera, peasant cooking, and American-Italian dishes.
