Claim Jumper closed its third Las Vegas location in two years and it can now be revealed its westside location on Fort Apache Road will be demolished to make way for a Chick-fil-A and adjacent retail building.
First uncovered back in February, the chicken sandwich kings will construct a 5,011-square-foot drive-thru restaurant with an outdoor dining area and indoor playground at the corner of Charleston Boulevard and Fort Apache, across from Boca Park and half a mile from Tivoli Village.
Tenants for the 4,000-square-foot retail section have yet to be confirmed.
Operated by Landry’s Inc., Claim Jumper closed the restaurant without notice, but its casual American menu can still be found at 601 N. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson and a 24-hour location downtown inside the Golden Nugget resort.
Yet to publicly announce the switcheroo, once the building is removed, Chick-fil-A fans should expect a minimum six months of construction work until opening day.
