Despite sharing a name with the infamous legal brothel in Pahrump, The Chicken Ranch restaurant has arrived in North Las Vegas, serving a family-friendly menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Launched in Arizona in 2009 and open for less than a month on Decatur Boulevard, the operators are already hoping for a June debut for a second local expansion, headed to the eastside and close to the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
Describing itself as “not that one, the other one,” the casual space has moved into the Lake Mead Decatur Shopping Center, west of the Texas Station and in the same retail center as Mariscos El Puerto, Mucho Sabroso Mexican Homemade Food & Coffee, and the future home of Michoacán a Pedir de Boca.
Featuring a full roster of dining specials, including a current all-you-can-eat fish deal on Fridays and $4.99 breakfast specials during the week, The Chicken Ranch breakfast choices include country biscuits and gravy, waffles, French toast, and breakfast burritos.
Lunch options of fish po’boy, barbecue chicken, and a meatloaf sandwich join dinner options of baskets of chicken strips, fish fingers, or shrimp, plus a long list burgers and sandwiches, including the “Cuban” prepared on an Italian roll and an 8-ounce “prime rib dip.”
The Chicken Ranch, 1917 N. Decatur Blvd., North Las Vegas, 702-636-4108. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
