Shuttered earlier this year after less than six months at the Hawaiian Marketplace, the former Rockin Rice Puddin & NY Pizza space has found a new replacement.
Chicks & Butts BBQ is expected to open soon on the southern side of the Strip retail center. Once home to Dino’s Little Italy, the site is a few steps from Chew & Chug, one of the rare success stories at the outdoor mall and currently scheduled to bring its Korean-American-inspired menu to the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes later this year.
Hiring “model” servers since February, Chicks & Butts has yet to announce further details of its barbecue fare, or future opening hours.
The casual restaurant faces another recent arrival, Smokey’s Bistro & Bar, created by same operators of Mediterranean restaurant Red Palms, located a short distance down Las Vegas Boulevard. The casual bar is highlighted by outdoor seating and a dining menu of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and flatbread pizzas.
