Announced for April, then updated to “spring” and now officially aiming for “late summer,” Sixth + Mill Pizzeria & Bar is readying to begin a multi-million dollar overhaul at the Venetian.
Created by Factory Place Hospitality Group, the same team behind the hit Factory Kitchen Italian restaurant on the resort’s restaurant row, Sixth + Mill replaces Otto Enoteca in the St. Mark’s Square high-pedestrian traffic section of the Grand Canal Shoppes.
The restaurant fills a substantial 5,042 square feet, with a total occupancy of 148 and a hefty budget of $2.1 million estimated for construction costs alone.
First premiered in Downtown Los Angeles in April 2018, Las Vegas can look forward to a casual, Southern Italy-inspired menu from chef Angelo Auriana, headlined by Neapolitan-style pizzas, “hard durum wheat pastas,” shareable small plates, plus “a few recipes from his father’s home cooking.”
