Taking a design cue from its Burlingame, California, restaurant, Flights Las Vegas is still on track to debut its first non-California expansion by early summer and has already mounted a light aircraft on the ceiling to top off the aviation-themed interior.
Created by restaurateurs Alex and Sarah Hult in 2017 and featuring a menu from Kyle Kingrey, a former executive chef at the Cosmopolitan’s Beauty & Essex and the Tao Group, Flights is hoping to open by July 1 at the Miracle Mile Shops, replacing the long-vacant Cheeseburger Las Vegas.
Featuring staff in flight attendant-inspired uniforms and high-flying design accents, the restaurant specialty is serving cocktails, beers, and dishes in “flights of three,” providing diners with a trio of distinct, easy-to-share flavors.
Currently in the final hiring stage, the brand is also open for lunch and dinner in Campbell, Los Gatos, and Mountain View, California, where diners can order more rounds of casual American favorites by pressing a call button to summon “attendants” to their seats.
