Later this summer, El Dorado Cantina expands its table-side guacamole service from next door to a strip club to Tivoli Village. The Mexican restaurant’s second location plans to take over the former Leticia’s space at the outdoor shopping center in late summer,
El Dorado Cantina rolls in with its popular dishes such as pozole, a molé sampler, cochinita pibil, street tacos, and tres leches from chef Paco Cortes. Of course, a full roster of margaritas, sangrias, and mojitos fill out the bar menu.
The 6,200 square-foot space with a patio and space for 238 dinners plans to be opened daily, not 24 hours like the original on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive next to Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club.
Leticia’s abruptly closed in October and has since opened locations at Santa Fe Station and Fiesta Henderson. That restaurant replaced Cantina Laredo after it departed the shopping center in 2017.
