Promising the “ultimate wine experience,” The Local has debuted at The District at Green Valley Ranch, providing a relaxing respite for shoppers for lunch and dinner and serving a menu of salads, bruschetta dishes, panini, and charcuterie boards.
Created by co-owners Chris Connors and Li Hsun Sun’s of Me Gusta Tacos, located a short walk from The Local’s front door, the compact, 1,000-square-foot wine bar sits between Bath & Body Works and Chico’s.
Built with a rising front window that can open up to Village Walk Drive, diners can sit at tables, or around the bar, enjoying the venue’s 11.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. happy hour deals during the week.
On the menu, sparkling wines, crafted cocktails, and a collection red and white wine, or mimosa drink flights.
Small bites include panini served with kettle chips, salads, brushcetta plates featuring smashed avocado, or fig jam, apples, and brie, and the house specialty, a series of charcuterie boards, including the namesake “Local” created with three meats, cheeses, vegetables, and dipping sauces.
The Local, 2240 Village Walk Drive, #136, Henderson, 702-665-6050. Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., closing at 11 p.m on Fridays and Saturdays, and serving from 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
