Thai Spoon had hoped to be serving “amazing appetizers, majestic main courses, and delicious desserts” by August, but the Centennial newcomer remains under construction and is now announcing a September debut.

Joining the small handful of Thai options in the neighborhood, the restaurant will move next door to The Butcher Block at the Centennial Square retail center, a short distance from the intersection of Durango Drive and Centennial Parkway.

It joins North End Pizza, Distill, and another recent arrival, Vegan Bliss, a replacement for Blinders Burgers & Brunch.

Filling a roomy 3,520 square feet across two vacant spaces, daily opening hours are expected to be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m and closing at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Customers can also order dishes to go.

Already previewed for the future menu, tom kha gai, its spin on chicken coconut soup, panang curry, plus “the “BEST Pad Thai, hands down!!!”
