DOWNTOWN — Ryan Reaves, the Canadian-American right winger for the Vegas Golden Knights, just received approval from the City of Las Vegas for a liquor license for 7Five Brewing at 1510 S. Main St. The enforcer teams up with Henderson’s Able Baker Brewing Co. on a restaurant and pub opening soon. He tells the city council: “7Five holds a lot of meaning to me as it is the only number I’ve worn in my 10-year career in the NHL, along with the two years with the Golden Knights. I’d like to say that this company is not a ‘celebrity’ endorsement, while it is about me it’s about the great people of Las Vegas. I’ve only been here for two years and I’ve realized that this city has so much culture and so many stories to tell and through our branding and marketing we are planning on telling those stories and bringing the city with this company.” The 7,504-square-foot venue replaces a long vacant furniture store, a few steps from Wyoming Avenue and three blocks to the west of Dino’s Lounge. ARTS DISTRICT — File Treehouse, the proposed rooftop pool taking over the former The Attic space, among the projects that probably will never happen. Brock Metzka’s Arts District Holdings, the developer, ended the tenant’s lease and filed a lawsuit on July 5 in Clark County District Court that claims that Jason Manley, Craig Missen, Garry Sweet, and Treehouse Lounge Holdings failed to complete five months of construction and tenant-improvement payments or pay for any of the $1.2 million-plus in change orders. The lawsuit also seeks $7.8 million to cover a 15-year rental contract. Treehouse at 1021 S. Main St. promised a small speakeasy near the front entrance, a main 300-seat dining room serving Australian food with a DJ booth, another bar to the rear of the first floor, and a separate video poker lounge.
