A longtime fixture and favorite among the local vegan and vegetarian dining community, Garden Grill is very close to upgrading from its farmer’s market origins to a full-time, counter-service restaurant.
Originally scheduling “soft opening” days ahead of its official debut, a broken A/C unit prompted the owners to instead announce a series of “pop up,” limited hour test days while the team works out any remaining operational kinks.
The Garden Grill replaces the 1,300-square-foot former home of Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill at 7550 W. Lake Mead Blvd., a short walk from the Sprouts grocery store at the Summerlin Gateway Plaza retail center.
Yet to reveal its future opening hours, the “100% plant based” menu is expected to include a number of the “compassionate food crafters’” best known dishes, including its “Crispy Chick’n Sandwiches,” “Philly Cheeze Steaks,” and “beer battered avocado” tacos, also adding a Jones soda fountain machine and soft serve desserts.
