San Francisco’s acclaimed, small batch artisans Dandelion Chocolate is expanding to the Venetian, promising a “world-class, high-touch chocolate experience.”
Currently hiring, the Las Vegas expansion will build a café serving coffee, hot chocolate, frozen drinks, and in-house created pastries, plus a retail outlet for its bars, caramels, ganache, and gift sets, imported from Dandelion’s Mission District factory in San Francisco.
Created with only cocoa beans and cane sugar, their products are available in 70 percent, or 85 percent cocoa content intensity, upgraded with ingredients including black tea, raw almonds, wildflower honey, warm molasses and the “Kokoa Kamili” created with “green grapes, sourdough bread and chocolate gelato.”
Yet to announce the expansion, or a possible opening date, recently filed paperwork places the store close to the Venetian’s front desk, in the ornate lobby leading to the casino floor.
Curious chocolate fans looking to sample before the chocolatier arrives can currently pick up bars at the Wynn Las Vegas retail store, or Lolli & Pops at Fashion Show.
